The country of South Korea is located in Southeast Asia in the south of the Korean Peninsula. The climate can be either humid sub-tropical or humid continental depending on where you are. One of the things that affects the weather in South Korea is the Pacific Ocean and then there is the East Asian monsoon. The summer will usually see the most rain in South Korea weather. The winters in South Korea can in some cases get bitterly cold with temperatures dropping fast. The months of June, July, August and September are the ones that will see most of the rain. Typhoons can also hit the south of the country, especially late in the summer. Floods and high winds can also happen when a typhoon hits the area.
